This wedding was such an honor to be a part of! Alyssa is one of my favorite wedding photographers from Nashville who has been a dear friend for years, and a few years ago on a trip to Ireland she met this guy Jay from Nova Scotia. Fast forward a bit, Jay proposed on another trip to Ireland! They chose to have an intimate wedding on Cape Breton at Highland Village before settling into their new home in Halifax. (Sentimental aside: Ben and I went to Nova Scotia for our honeymoon so it was especially sweet to return to the area!) I had so much fun working out of an adorable Airbnb looking over a lake and sourcing flowers from local farmers! Shout out to Marshdale Farms and Humble Burdock for taking such good care of me and providing such beautiful flowers.
