This intimate, installation intensive at The Saint Elle was such a special day. Six students learned how to create three installations that all had different inspiration and color palettes. You can see more behind the scenes parts of the day here.
First up was a lush broken arch, filled with warm hues of Butterscotch and Dusty Rose. The second build – Iridescent Pastel, was an asymmetrical, sprawling window installation that was over 8 feet tall. To end the day, we built what is becoming one of my favorite kinds of installations, a spiraling floating cloud that reaches from floor to ceiling and is filled with movement. Aptly named Burnt Amethyst, it was packed to the brim with florals ranging from plum to terracotta. Below is a closer look at our Burnt Amethyst installation.
