This has to be one of the most joyful couples I’ve ever worked with! Bailey took her inspiration from Marc Chagall’s paintings of flowers, which was such a fun challenge for this former art student. (Please take 30 seconds to google Chagall if you’re not familiar! Such beauty!) We used a variety of textured wildflowers in bright coral, peach, golden yellow, and red to mimic the paintings, then brought in pops of cornflower and deep blue anemones as a nod to the iconic Chagall blue.
The sweetest detail of the day, however, was that every place setting used a plate from HEAL Ministries, handmade by women in Uganda. In the middle of the reception, Bailey and Kevin donned aprons and hand washed every plate so their guests could each take one home! Such a beautiful way to begin their marriage with this act of service for their loved ones.
